MCN Learning colleagues Frank Morello and Jorge Acuna are attending the National Nursing Staff Development Organization 2012 Convention in Boston. The brand new MCN Learning app Pain Scale – Children is being showcased! Feedback from nurse colleagues so far has been favorable!
Thin new app can be used with:
• Non-verbal children
• Children who cannot speak the same language as the caregiver
• Victims of abuse
• Any child who cannot verbally talk about pain
This app helps the child use a game-like visual interface so they can express how much pain they feel and where it hurts. This video link will demonstrate how the app works:
